When Larian released the photo mode patch for BG3, I of course immediately took the opportunity to play around with it and get shots of all of my favorite Tavs/Durges, and their respective besties/lovers. And of course when modders once again absolutely cooked with multiple pose, lighting, and general camera mode tweak mods, I ended up spending HOURS trying to get the best photos possible. A good chunk of my play time is probably due to how much time I spent in photo mode.
I hope to add to my collection of photo mode screenshots eventually, but for now enjoy what I already have!

Astarion/Archibald
My main blorbos! Here is a collection of all images Astarion, Archibald, or Astarion x Archibald related. These two have the most amount of headcanon lore, and have the most amount of fanart and fanfiction (unpublished/unfinished) that I have created for any of my OC x Canon BG3 couples. So it only makes sense that they have the most screenshots taken. There will absolutely be more of them in the future.
Archibald
These are solo Archibald shots. You'll notice Archibald's design/body type change a little between the images as I moved from a more feminine body type to a more masculine one. Archibald is meant to present very androgynous, and eventually it just made more sense for them to use a more masculine body type, though that still isn't perfectly accurate to their body type as I see it in my head.
These images are actually pre-photo mode, so enjoy some of my original attempts at moody photography in BG3!

Astarion
Here are the solo Astarion shots. Definitely one of my favorite subjects to take screenshots of (mostly because he's my favorite character, because I am unfortunately a cliche). You'll see him feature in some of my more meme-y pics later, but for now have more serious/dramatic images of the man himself!
There are all the pre-photo mode pictures, so once again enjoy all the shots I took in the middle of Astarion dialogue because I thought they looked silly/interesting. The final picture, also pre-photo mode, was me using mods to attempt to make Astarion look like a tiefling. Those with elite ball knowledge will know that he was initially going to be a tiefling way back in the beginning of game development.
These were created with photo mode to test out composition and lighting with the advanced photo mode mod I had installed. I also realized while creating this gallery that I really haven't taken a lot of solo Astarion photos in photo mode, besides all the meme stuff and shitpost images. Ah well, that'll probably change at some point! So this section is officially to be continued...
Astarion x Archibald
We have now the collection of the goobers doing what they do best -- being hopelessly in love, and also being hopeless chaos goblins. Once again, you'll notice a shift between old Archibald and new Archibald.
Interestingly enough, this seems to be the only pre-photo mode screenshot I could find of them together, though I'm sure there's probably more I had to save to my Google Drive in order to make some space on my desktop (I...may be unhealthily obsessed with this game, but we save that for therapy).
One of the first photo mode test images I took. This does sort of count as a more meme-y photo, but tbh I took a LOT of dumb pics with these two, so they're just going to go here. Enjoy!
I actually made a version of these screenshots with face Snapchat captions, but I cannot for the life of me find them anywhere. If/when I do, though, I will be putting them here in place of the originals. I was very proud of these photos lol!

Another little story in pictures. Wanted to do something a little cliche but (imo) cute as a little bonding scenario as their relationship grows. Also this was a very fun sequence of images to make.
My all time favorite photo mode images I've taken so far. Wanted to really capture some of the more tender moments of them being together. I was very impressed with the lighting on these ones.
Abi/Shadowheart
Technically my third OC x Canon couple that I made for my Selunite Tav playthrough, but they are second to Archibald x Astarion when it comes to post-BG3 lore. Of course I had to ship the Selunite with the Sharran because the enemies to lovers potential is just too great.
Abi
The solo Abi shots! There are unfortunately far too few of these, but that will change. Most of the images were taken for the purpose of being used for digital tokens for a Descent Into Avernus campaign, in which I am currently playing Abi. She's definitely become one of my most beloved characters.
As per usual, the pre-photo mode shots! I actually think there were more than this, but they're once again probably in my Google Drive. Or unfortunately deleted. I think I did end up purging my screenshots at some point to make space on my laptop. Her design has changed a little, which you may notice. Her makeup/face tattoos were originally more golden, but then I realized it made more sense for them to be silver (because Selune is known as the "lady of silver" and whatnot).

Shadowheart
I have VERY few solo images of Shadowheart. In fact, looking through my screenshots, I don't really think I have any. So for the time being, this half of the page is a work in progress!
Abi x Shadowheart
Now have a collection of all of the (current) couple photos of Abi and Shadowheart!
You may notice the couples in clown makeup being a trend. It is a tradition for all of my couples to kiss in the clown makeup in all of my playthroughs. I think it's very cute for them all to have gotten their faces painted on their circus dates!
All of the pre-photo mode pics of them together! I find them absolutely adorable. There will be a post about them on my (WIP) OC Lore page.
First test done with photo mode on the top of Ramazith's Tower because it's an absolutely incredible view. Sadly again, there are not a lot of photo mode images with them together. Buuut also once again, that will change!
Laphea/Karlach
Laphea and Karlach, my favorite lesbian tieflings...Not only are they the most badass lesbian bardbarian couple, but they are best friends. I have so many ideas about their adventures in the Hells as they try to cure Karlach. Anyhow, have the goobers!
Laphea
Solo Laphea shots! There SHOULD be plenty of these (I am looking through my screenshots actively as I make these collections, so I see how many I have as I go). I was very proud of her design when I created her (thanks, once again, to mods). The mods I used is partially what contributed to her backstory, which hopefully I will have fully fleshed out and posted on here at some point.
Pre-photo mode! I definitely think there were far more screenshots of her, but I could be gaslighting myself. I remember taking so many screenshots before photo mode, and now it seems like my screenshot collection is very slim. I really must have purged a lot for the sake of storage space, but I may never know.
Unfortunately, I don't think I've taken any solo shots of Laphea with photo mode, which is absolutely fucked up on my part. She has possibly my favorite design out of my DND/BG3 characters, and I have not appreciated it enough!
Karlach
The ONLY pre-photo mode solo shot of Karlach. I was honestly surprised I had any! The severe lack of solo shots of any characters is actually shocking and rather disappointing to me.
Laphea x Karlach
The most lesbian lesbians to ever lesbian!
The clown couple trend continues (pre-photo mode, of course)! These two may have actually been where it all started. I figured out of any of my couples, they would be the ones to kiss in clown makeup. Abi and Shart would be a close second, and I think Astarion would need some convincing. But you can tell I loved this pair a LOT.
EARLY photo mode shots! This is before photo mode mods were even available, so I was working with the tools I had to try and get good shots. I might have to re-attempt these shots with all of my new tools. These were based off a fanfiction I never finished that explored the early stages of their relationship, and the struggles of them not being able to even hold hands. OH doomed yuri, my beloved... (except slightly less doomed because they deserve a happy ending).
Post-mod tests. I was very proud of these ones, and I thought they were adorable! Love these two lesbians! And for now, that's about everything I have, as far as photo mode goes for these two. There will certainly be more in the future!
